Xfce and Editing Menus

I’ve been playing with the Xfce version of Mint Debian Edition and one of the things that’s a bit annoying is how cluttered the Xfce menu is. There are entries like root terminal and Bulk Renamer which I’ll never use but which I can’t uninstall (Bulk Renamer is part of the Thunar file manager and I guess root terminal is a Debian thing…). I’ve taken to editing entries out of the menu using the Hide menu entries information found on the Xfce Wiki.

It’s made the Xfce menu a lot cleaner and it’s a lot easier to find things via the Application Finder. It’s made a huge difference for me.

I’m really, really enjoying Xfce Linux Mint Debian.
