An interview with Clay Shirky | The Setup

This is a cool interview, but the thing I found fascinating is that Shirky seems to go out of his way to not say Ubuntu. He uses the name once, but the rest of the time he just uses version numbers, like 12.04 or 13.04. So either he’s so immersed in Ubuntu, he doesn’t realize he’s not using the name, or for some reason, he doesn’t like saying/typing the name.

I was wondering if it’s some kind of payback, karmic or otherwise, for Ubuntu not using the term Linux on their site.
